Residence registration
Important for you:
If you live in Dresden, i.e. spend most of your time here, please register with the Bürgerbüro (Citizens’ Office) as a resident of the state capital Dresden. Only once you are officially registered as a resident will the Dresden Immigration Office be responsible for you and attend to your concerns.
If you move from Dresden – to another German city or abroad – please deregister yourself as a resident.
